In 1976, Jim Dempsey Sr. moved from Seacaucus, New Jersey to New Brunswick, Canada with his family in search of a life away from the noise and endless development that was overtaking their neighbourhood. Jim had visited New Brunswick before, and had fallen in love with the province. An avid outdoorsman himself, it seemed he had found his dream home! Not long after, Jim found himself guiding his American friends on hunts when they travelled to Canada.
Years have passed and though Jim Sr. is no longer with us, his son James (Jimmy) carries the same love and excitement for the outdoors that drove his father’s ambitions and ultimately led us to where we are today.
Jimmy offers clients a rustic hunting camp experience. The lodge sits on 100 acres of woodland and offers a quiet escape from the constant hum of civilization. Wildlife is everywhere, and guests are likely to have encounters with all sorts of creatures ranging from squirrels, raccoons, bobcats and fishers, to whitetail deer, black bears and moose!
